Better Life Therapy is dedicated to providing resources and support for university students. I understand the unique pressures that come with studying at a university and strive to create a safe and supportive environment for students to access the mental health resources they need. Utilizing interventions associated with Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS). DBT provides us skills for navigating difficult moments while IFS helps us learn and understand our internal system and its ability to move through stressful moments in life.
With several years of schooling, pre-during-and-post pandemic, I'm able to empathize and understand the current stressors of maintaining grades, working and financial stressors, the cost of living, social connection, and so much more.
With a goal of helping students slow down, we offer complimentary tea and coffee for before or during your session. Engaging in a joint warm beverage during our session bridges connection, encourages self-care and mindfulness.
I providing flexible hours, direct billing to Canada Life, virtual or in-person sessions.
